Know how to tell and write down all your life stories the easy way.
The Alan Close 'Fiction or Memoir?' Lifewriting Workshop will be based on practical writing exercises as well as constructive feedback within a supportive environment. The workshop aims to help writers find the story they need to share in the best way possible.
Expect to learn the difference between fiction and memoir with practical examples; explore the nature of `truth’ and its difference to ‘facts’; discuss about point of view along with appropriate writing exercises; explore the stories you need to tell; share short pieces of your writing with small groups; discover the `story map’; discuss writing scenes; complete exercises from your own life story.
Participants of all skill level are encouraged to join.
